Toomu Narasimhadasu (18th Century)
Toomu Narasimhadasu lived in Guntur during his early life. He was contemporary of Tyagaraja.
He was an ardent devotee of Sri Rama. He wrote many devotional and philosophical songs
consisting of "Melukolupu, Lali Patalu and Mangala Haratulu" etc. They are very
popular through out Andhra among Bhajana groups and homes.
Narasimhadasu went on a pilgrimage to various temples of South India and finally settled in Bhadrachalam.
His Keertanas are full of Bhakti Rasa.
