AP	maNimaya makuTa virAjamAnO manmadhakOTi samAnaha ||	You are adorned with gem-studded crown magnificiently. Your charm excels the charm of million cupids.
C	gajavara gamanaha kamaneeyAnanaha sujanagaNAvana sundara radanaha gajamukha vinutaha karuNAkara nee raja nayanaha tyAgarAja hrutsadanaha ||	Your gait is majestic like the walk of royal elephant. You are protector of the pious. You have beautiful row of teeth. Elephant-headed god Ganesa worships you. Your eyes are beautiful like lotus flower. Oh Lord Rama, you have the most coveted place in the heart of Tyagaraja.

P	mariyAda kAdurA ||	Oh Lord, it is not fair.
AP	karuNAkara vArini veerini sarijEsi choochuchunDEdi ||	Oh Rama the embodiment of compassion, it is not fair to treat honest and devotional singers and impostors equally.
C	rAgamu tALamu rakti bhakti jNAna yOgamu mari yanurAgamu lEni bhAgavatuludara SayanulEgAni tyAgarAjArchita tAraka charita ||	Some singers devoid of real knowledge of Raga, Tala, spiritual involvement and dedication are only deceiving the world. They are often lethargic gluttons. Oh Rama, you have the reputation for bestowing salvation. Tyagaraja worships you.

P	mahima dakkinchukOvayya mahini satyaswarupuDanu mahi rAjarAjESwara ||	Oh Srirama the greatest emperor, you are the embodiment of righteousness. I pray that you should keep up that status.
AP	vihita mArga bhaktulugA mahAtmulu velayaga vinalEdA swakeeyamagu ||	Have you not noticed exalted devotees who lived strictly adhering to the tenets of Dharma ?
C	paniki rAni panulu chEsi SaraNanu vAri vetalu deerchi brOchitivE tanivi teera namminADanuchu Sri tyAgarAjanuta tappulADaku ||	There were also persons indulged in futile pursuits. When they sought for shelter, you assuaged their sufferigs and protected them. (Ex. Sugriva). I have implicit faith in you only. Oh Lord of Tyagaraja, please ignore my mistakes.

P	yuktamu gAdu nanu rakshimpakunDEdi rAma ||	Oh Rama, it is not fair for you to avoid protecting me.
AP	bhakta vatsala patita pAvana tri Saktiyu galgina dEvuDu neevE ||	Devotees are dear to you. You are redeemer of the sinful. You are the Almighty with the combined powers of Brahma, Vishnu and Maheswara.
C 1	toli dushkrutamula naNachE nee biru dilanu daDusukonenO paliki bonkaDanu nee keertiyu nE bAgulEdu anenO telisi teliyani nee dAsula brOva dEva dayarAnanE nOmunu velasina bhaktulakE nee Saktiyu selavai pOyenO telpumu ||	You have reputation as destroyer of sins. Perhaps even that title is scared of my worser sins. You are famous for keeping promise. Perhaps your compassion considered me unfit for redressal. Or Your kindness might have exhausted.
C 2	vaddayunDu janakAtmaja palkavaddanenO lEka niddurajituDati kOpamu tODanu neekEmi vinchenO mudduga bharatuDAnanda bAshpamula kanula ninchenO padduna pavanasutuDu vaddani nee pAdamu paTTukonenO telpumu ||	Did your dear spouse Sita counsel you not to bother about me? Perhaps Lakshmana who conquered sleep, angrily dissuaded you. Bharata who missed you for a long time is perhaps reluctant to leave you. May be your most devoted servant Anjaneya does not leave your feet.
C 3	challani nee bhakti lEdani vidhi kallalADukonenO nA valla kAdani paluku cheli mikkili vArtalADukonenO ullamunanu Sri tyAgarAju ninnunchukona marachenO chellelaina dharmasamvardhani chErabOkumanenO telpumu ||	Brahma might have commented about the quality of my Bhakti. Did Vani talk lightly about me? Or your sister Parvati might have dicouraged you from rescuing me. Perhaps Tyagaraja has forgotten to worship you well.
