P	nee daya galguTE bhAgyamani nijamunanEla tOchadO ||	I wonder why it does not occur to many that they are fortunate to have your grace.
AP	nAdarupa neerada sannibha dina nAdhAnvaya bhushaNa mrudu bhAshaNa||	Oh Lord, you are the embodiment of the divine sound "nAda". You are blue like dark cloud. You are ornament of the Solar dynasty. Your speech is soft and gentle.
C 1	avivEkulaina dAra tanayala nanudinamunu kalasi bhava sAgaramunu eedalEka bhayamuna cheyyalasi yavaneeSula gAchi sukhamulEka nAyAsamu solasi vividhamulagu nee mAya lOpala tagilina tanakee yavadhulani telasi ||	Some foolish people always bother for their wife and children only. Unable to swim accross the world of sorrow, they seek help of rulers. Disappointed with them, they get frustrated. Then they realise the futility of entangling in delusion or Maya of worldliness.
C 2	vEgi lEchi tanatilObhi janula vembaDigA tirigi rOgiyai tAgOrina kOrkelu rOyaka mEnu karagi bhOga bhAgyamula korakanyasurula bhusurula kOri tirigi yEgatiyu lEka ee sukhambuliTlani tana madini tAnerigi ||	Some get up early in the morning to seek help from the worst misers. They get exhausted and become sick. They approach Devatas and Brahmanas for favours and wealth. When they are hopeless they realise the futility of hankering.
C 3	naga nAyaka SayanEndu dinanAdha nayana seetAnka yOgivandita padAravinda yuga SaraNAkaLanka rAga lObha madAdula goTTi rakshinchE birudAnka tyAgarAja pujita raghunAyaka tArakamani teliya niSSanka ||	Oh Lord, you recline on Adisesha, the Sun and the Moon are your eyes. Your spouse Sita delightfully sits on your lap. Yogis bow to your feet for relief. You are unblemished. You have the reputation of redeeming us from arrogance, miserliness and fascination. Oh Srirama the chief of Raghu dynasty, Tyagaraja worships you. Undoubtedly you are my emancipator.

P	nenaruncharA nApaini chAla nee dAsuDanu gAnA SrirAmA ||	Oh Srirama, am I not your devoted servant?. Kindly show me your love for me.
AP	sanakAdi yOgi brunda vandyapAda sAkEtavAsa sadbhakta pOsha ||	Sanaka and other great sages bow to your sacred feet. You dwell at Ayodhya. You are the protector of pious devotees.
C	talli tanDri guru daivamu neevani tarachugAnu ninu nammi yunna nE tallaDilluchunDa dAri choopavEmi tyAgarAja paripAla suguNa Seela ||	I absolutely believe that you are my mother, father Guru and God. When I am agitated with so many problems, why don't you show me a way out? You are repository of virtues and the protector of Tyagaraja.

P	nEramA rAma rAma neekidi neerajAksha nA jeevAdhAra ||	Oh Srirama, your eyes are beautiful like lotus flower. You are the prop for my existence. Please let me know whether there is any serious lapse on my part?.
AP	mArakOTi soundaryamunu gani madi lOna sunta marachi yunTE ||	I lost myself for a while as if I was in trance at the sight of your fascinating charm which excels the beauty of a million Manmadhas.
C	kOri kOri needu koluvu sEyuvELa sAramaina padasArasamula pon gAra joochi yuramuna nunchudAmO kanula nottudAmO yani koorimini brahmAnanda monduchunu konta maimarachi yunTini gAni tArakAdhipAnana pAvana si tAnAyaka Sri tyAgarAjunipai ||	While worshipping you with great yearning , I was overwhelmed with ecstasy, gazing at your sacred feet. I was contemplating in my mind whether to keep your lotus-feet on my chest or to press them on my eyes. It is true that I was a bit absent-minded in that supreme bliss. Oh Rama the lord of Sita, Your face is beautiful like the moon. Did Tyagaraja commit a great mistake?.

P	padavi nee sadbhaktiyu kalguTE ||	Oh Srirama, possessing pure devotion to you is indeed high station in life.
AP	chadivi vEda SAstrOpanishattula satta teliya lEnidi padavA ||	Is it real status if one does not know that the ultimate object of mastering all Vedas, Sastras and Upanishads is for the realisation of the Supreme Soul?.
C 1	dhana dAra sutAgAra sampadalu dharaNeeSula chelimoka padavA rAga lObha yuta yajNAdulachE bhOgamulabbuTa yadi padavA ||	One may possess wife, children and wealth ; achieve influence with ruling class ; perform rituals and austerities with the sole aim of enjoying luxurious life. Does all this confer true status?.
C 2	japatapAdi aNimAdi siddhulachE jagamula nEchuTa yadi padavA ||	Some perform penance and obtain mystic powers like Anima, only to harass the world. Is it great status?.
C 3	tyAgarAja nutuDu SrirAmuni tatvamu teliyani dokapadavA ||	If one does not assimilate the philosophy and life of SriRama, the deity of Tyagaraja, is it real status?.
