P	endu bAyarA daya inakula tilakA daya ||	Oh Rama, the diadem of Surya dynasty. What happened to your compassion?
C 1	induvadana kundaradana mandaradhara needaya ||	Your face is beautiful like the moon. Your teeth are lustrous like jasmine buds. You bore "Mandara" mountain.
C 2	sAnta bhoosha bhakta pOsha SaraNu SEshaSAyee ||	Serenity is your ornament. You are protector of devotees.Oh Seshasayee who reclines on Adisesha, I seek for protection.
C 3	Srita SaraNya suravarENya kruta supuNya dhanyA daya ||	You are prop for devotees. You are the supreme among all Devatas. You elevate the pious who are indeed fortunate.
C 4	nagarAja dharanutAja tyAgarAja varadA daya	Lord Siva who adorns serpents adores you. You are eternal. You are bestower for Tyagaraja.

P	ennALLu tirigEdi ||	How long should I go like this?
AP	ennarAni dEhAletti eesamsAra gahanamandu pannuga chOrula reeti parulanu Eginchuchunu ||	After many births and deaths I am blessed with human life in this world of sorrow. Is it for harassing and disgusting others like a thief?
C 1	uppu kappooramu varaku unchavruttichE nArjinchi meppulaku poTTanimpi mEmE peddalamanuchu ||	Some are living on doles given by others to fill their stomachs and pose themselves as elders of society.
C 2	rEpaTi kooTiki lEdani rEyipagalu vesanamandi Sripati poojalu marachi chEsinaTTivAri valenE ||	They are worried day and night for their next day's meal. They even forget their daily worship but pretend as true worshippers of Sripati.
C3,C4	bhramanukoni iruguporugu bhakshimpa rammani pilva amaruchukO pooja japamu nAsAyamu nanuchu|| nAyandu unDE tappulu nADE telusukonTi gAni bAya viDuvaka mahAnubhAva tyAgarAja vinuta ||	When some gullible neighbors invite them for lunch, they deliberately continue their Pooja until evening, pretending as sincere worshippers. I realised my mistakes some time back. I am unable to desist the life of deception.Oh exalted Rama, Tyagaraja worships you for relief.

P	evvarE rAmayya neesari ||	Oh Rama, who is comparable to you?
AP	ravvaku tAvulEka sujanulanu rAjiga rakshinchE vA||re ||	Who else like you can compassionately protect pious people without any clamour?
C	pagavAniki sOdaruDani yenchaka bhakti nerigi lanka paTTaNa mosagaga nagadhara surabhusura pujitavara nAgaSayana tyAgarAja vinuta sari ||	Though Vibhishana was brother of Ravana,your enemy , you were not prejudiced. You recognised his devotion to you and crowned him as king of Lanka. Oh Lord, you bore "Mandara" mountain. Devatas and scholars worship you. You recline on Adisesha. Tyagaraja worships you.

P	evaru teliyaga boyyEru nee mahimalu ||	Oh Mother Neelayatakshi, who can comprehend your limitless prowess?
AP	bhuvilO varamou nAgapuramuna kanugonTi lavalESamainanu neelAyatAkshi sAmardhyamu ||	I am fortunate to find you in this world at Nagapattanam. Who knows even a fraction of your capability?
C 1	karaku bangAru valuva gaTTi sogasu meera karamuna chlukanu baTTi nirjara taru virulanu koppu ninDa juTTi adiyugAka haruni aTTiTTADinchinaTTi nee leelanu ||	You are gorgeous when adorned with gold-laced silk saree. You hold parrot beautifully. You decorate your hair-knot with sacred parijata flowers profusely. Even your consort Lord Siva is amazed at your divine miracles.
C 2	hari brahmAdulu ninu kolva AvELanu virubONulandamutO nilva amaravara taruNulu nATyamuchE golva anniyu joochi karuNArasamu jilka pilva aTTi needaya ||	When Brahma, Vishnu and other Gods are adoring you, when beautiful maids are serving you, when celestial nymphs are dancing before you with great reverence,You shower your compassion.
C 3	nAgabhushaNuniki rANivaina ninnu vi nAgati evaru neelavENi bhaktula bhAgadhEyamaina SarvANi santatamu tyAgarAju balkina vANi priyamaina ni||nne ||	Oh Sarvani, You are the queen of Lord Sankara who adorns serpents. You are the fortune of devotees. Who else is there for me to seek refuge? You are delighted with the devotional renderings of Tyagaraja.
