C3,,C4	ghanamunugOru chAtakamu reeti gAchiti tanahrutpAtakamu|| rajaneeSu joochu kumudamureeti rAjillu ninu jooDa mudamu ||	Oh Rama, I am yearning for your grace like a thirsty Chataka bird in the sky yearns for rain-bearing clouds. Just as water-lily blossoms in the presence of the moon I am delightful to see you.
C5,C6	neekaruNE rAjayOgamu rAma mAyayE rAjabhOgamu|| rAghava Subhakara moortE tyAgarAju neevADani keertE||	Oh Rama,Your compassion is 'Raja yOga' and your 'Maya' is 'Rajabhoga' for me. ( Rajayoga is absolutely surrendering to God considering one's self as instrumental. Raja bhoga is delusive worldly life). Oh Raghava, you are bestower of auspiciousness. Tyagaraja is fortunate to be known as yours.

What for is this body if I don't earn your grace and if I've the weakness of casting evil looks on other women ?

What for I am if I don't worship you with my hands and if I am eager to receive doles from unpious people?
C5,C6	vAram nee kshEtramulanu juTTaka bhooriki munduga pAripAri tirigE||Tan|| nee vADanu pEru ninduvahimpaka nAvADani yamuDu navvuchu bAdhinchE||Tan||	What for is this life if I don't go on piligrimage but wander aimlessly? What for I am if I don't strive to be your man instead of becoming favorite for Yama the death god?
C7	rAmayya Sri tyAgarAja vinuta ninnu bhAvimpaka proddu pAragoTTukonE||Tan ||	Oh Srirama, Tyagaraja worships you. What for is this body if I don't meditate upon you without wasting away my time?

P	kuvalayadaLa nayana brOvavE kunda kuTmala radana ||	Oh Srirama, your eyes are beautiful like lotus petals. Your teeth are shining like blossoming jasmines.
C1,C2	mamata minchi needu paini marulu konna nEnendu bOdu|| kamaneeyAnanamu dalachi nE karagi nilvajooDavETi guNamu ||	I am infatuated in love for you. Where else can I go ? While thinking of your charming face my heart is melting. Why don't you glance at me once?
C3,C4	manasu telisi neevu nannu marachi maravanaTlunnAvu|| mahilO kali bhayamA rApu mahima lEni daivamA neevu ||	You know my mind well. Yet you appear to be half-hearted. Is it due to fear of 'Kali yuga'? or Are you powerless deity?
C 5,C6	dEva SirOmaNi neevanuchu EvELa madini bADuchunTi|| anya matamuleruga Sri rAjanya bhajana chEsiti madi karaga||	I've always been singing that you are gem among all Gods. Oh emperor Rama, I am ignorant of other faiths. I heartily sang your glory in all devotional congregations.
C7,C8	nEnu bhuvini mAni neevu ghruNa heenuDanuchu pEru rAdO yani|| buddhinosagi tyAgarAjuni vadda nilichi poojagonumu bAga ||	I am sometimes afraid that you'll be misunderstood as a stone-hearted one on the earth. Oh Rama, please bestow me pure knowledge. Please remain in front of Tyagaraja and accept his worship well.

P	gata mOhASritapAlAdbhuta sitAramaNA ||	Oh Rama the consort of Sita, you are free from fascination. You are protector of devotees. You are marvellous.
C1,C2	bhava sArasabhava mAnasa bhavanAmara vinuta|| bhava tAraka savapAlana bhavadAsaraharaNa ||	You dwell in the hearts of Brahma and Siva. Devatas adore you. You are bestower of salvation. You are protector of Vedic rites. You are the destroyer of demon-like cycle of births.
C3,C4	vinatAja gamana rAghava muni pujita charaNa|| SatakOTi charita mAnava mada chEdaka damana ||	You fly on divine bird Garuda the son of Vinata. Oh Raghava, sages worship your sacred feet. Your glory is described in crores of verses. You destroy arrogance.
C5,C6	kara SObhita Sara pApatimira bhAskara suguNa|| SarajAnana karuNAkara vara vAraNa Samana ||	Your resplendence with arrow in hand is amazing. You eradicate sins just as the Sun dispels darkness. You are repository of several virtues. Your face is beautiful like the moon. You are ocean of compassion. You dispelled the suffering of Gajendra.
C 7	nata mAnasa hitakara pAlita tyAgarAja ||	You are benevolent to devotees. Oh Sitaramana, you are the protector of Tyagaraja.
