P	oorakE kalgunA rAmuni bhakti ||	Is it so simple to be blessed with devotion to Srirama?
AP	sAreku samsAramuna jochchi sAramani yenchu vAri manasuna ||	Those who consider that ephemeral worldly enjoyment is the essence of human birth would not be blessed with Bhakti.
C 1	Alu sutulu chuTTAlu vara sada nAlu kAya balAlu kanaka dha nAlu kala vaibhavAla kani asthi rAlanE bhAgya SAlulaku gAka ||	Only those who consider that spouse,children,relatives,rich buildings,physical strength,gold and other sorts of wealth are temporal pleasures are fortunate souls that would be blessed with the fortune of devotion to Rama.
C 2	manchi vArini poDagAnchi santatamu sEvinchi yAmanavAlakinchi yAdari sA dhinchi sarvamu hari yanuchu delisi bhA vinchi madini pujinchu vAriki gAka ||	Only those who serve, worship and listen to esteemed men of unblemished character and those who dispassionately feel that Srihari is in every being and every where are blessed with devotion to Rama.
C 3	rAjasa guNa yukta pujala nonarincha ka aja sannuta tyAgarAjuni jihvapai rAjillu varamantra rAjamunu sa dA japinchE maharAjulaku gAka ||	Only those exalted men who are not indulged in austentatious austerities to gain powers and those who chant 'Taraka mantra' which is always on Rama's devotee Tyagaraja's tongue, are blessed with devotion to Rama.

In this Kruti Tyagaraja takes liberty with his deity Srirama complaining that Rama is not moved by his pitiable state or sincere worship.

P	idi neeku mEra gAdurA SrirAma nAmadi tallaDillerA ||	O Srirama, my mind is very much perturbed . It does not suit you to leave me in this state.
AP	padilamuga golichitE bhAvamu vErE yunDEdi ||	I have been worshipping you with utmost reverence but you chose to be indifferent.
C 1	gatilEni vArini kaDa tErichE daivamani patita pAvana nammiti SrirAma ni nnati vEgamuna vEDiti santatamu sa mmatini ninnE kOriti SrirAma ||	I have immense faith that you are the savior of the helpless people and that you are the sole prop for disressed lot.O Srirama, I hastened to you only to beg for your grace.I always implored you only.
C 2	parama dayALuvani pAlana sEtuvani saraguna dEvarAya kolichina nApai karuNa lEdani kanneerAya chuchi nee manasu karugadenduku rAya sitArAma ||	I worshipped you believing that you are the most compassionate. Finding that you are devoid of pity, I have been shedding tears. O Sitarama, why does not your heart melt?
C 3	anniTa ninDina adbhutAnanda ghana mannana sEyarAdA SrirAma nee kennarAni puNyamu rAdA Sri tyAgarAja sannuta nee vADanu kAdA sitArAma ||	O Srirama, are you not the embodiment of absolute bliss?. Why don't you pity me? O Rama, don't you earn great 'punyam' by listening to my appeals.

In this Kruti Tyagaraja expresses his disgust with those who greedily struggle for temporal objects. He hates association with such people and prays to Rama to shower compassionate glances on him.

P	indukA puTTinchitivi na ||nn ||	O Rama, is it for this I am blessed with this life ?
AP	andagADa nannEla entO alainchi vEDuka joochuTaku na ||nn ||	O handsome Rama, is it fun for you to watch me suffering ?
C 1	O parAtpara rupa nAdu sa meepa janula chEta nApadalanu nE nE poddunu paritApamandi si tApati needu pai kOpagincha nA ||nn ||	O Supreme Lord, I am often troubled by people around me. When I am upset, I get angry with you.
C 2	dAsa pOshaka sadA sadana dArAdi gO sutala durAsa chEta kAsAsa minchi E dOsamu teliyani vEsadhArula sahavAsamu jEya na ||nn ||	O protector of devotees, people ceaselessly struggle to acquire buildings, wives, children,cows and other worldly things. Is this life worthy to crave for associating with such impostors ?
C 3	bhOgadApta sulabhAgadharaNa bhava rOga haraNa Sri tyAgarAjanuta sOga kannulatO bAgu meeranu vEga chooDa rAdAgamachara na ||nn ||	You are bestower of wealth. You are easily accessible to your intimate ones.. You lifted Govardhana hill. You remove worldly ills. O lord who revels in scriptures, why don't you hasten to shower benevolent glances on Tyagaraja with your long and beautiful eyes?

In this Kruti Tyagaraja expresses confidence that he is not an orphan because he always had Rama's support. He tauntingly says that Rama himself is supportless.

P	anAdhuDanu gAnu rAmA nE ||	O Rama, I am not an orphan.
AP	anAdhuDavu neevani nigamajnula sanAtanula mATa vinnAnu nE ||	I heard from ancient vedic scholars that you are without anybody's support.
C 1	nirAdaravu joochi eekali narAdhamulanEru purANa purusha puraripu nuta nAga rATchayana tyAgarAjanuta nE ||	In this Kali age some wicked people take advantage of my plight and your indifference, consider that I am an orphan. You are the Primordial being. Siva adores you. You recline on Adisesha the king of serpents.Tyagaraja worships you.
