In this Kruti Tyagaraja tauntingly complains to Rama that it is not fair for him to get delighted by the selfish worship by his neighbours who talk low of Tyagaraja.

P sarivAri lOna chowka chAladAyenA || O Rama, I am belittled in the presence of my compeers and neighbours. Are you happy with it ?
AP poruginDla vArala chEti puja choochi challanAyenA || Are you delighted with the selfish worship of my neighbours.
C 1 tAru mArugA balku vAralu
tattarinchagA jooDa nyAyamA
paramArdhakula dukha jAlamulu
bApalEdA Sri tyAgarAjanuta ||
Is it fair to embarass me amongst those who disturb my composure by their false utterances ? O lord of Tyagaraja, did you not dispel innumerable sufferings of many pious ascetics.

sAmiki sari jeppa-bEgaDa-rupaka

In this Kruti Tyagaraja expresses his immense love for Rama and declares that no other deity is equal to him. The song depicts "Madhura Bhakti" wherein a devotee engrosses in love for the deity he worships.

P sAmiki sari jeppa jAla vElpula rAma || I can't accept that other gods are equal to my lord Rama.
AP nA manasAtanipai nATiyunDaga norula || As my mind is totally absorbed in him, I can think of none else.

Everyone has his own view as ordained in his fate. But I consider it as my fortune to listen to his sweet words.

He is my sweet Rama. He never fails in keeping his word. He showers abundant love by his merciful glances.

I can not find any other god equal to him. He is my savior. He is the great companion of Tyagaraja.

sAri veDalina-asAvEri-Adi

In this Kruti Tyagaraja pays tribute to River Kaveri. He describes her gait and sanctity while flowing and paying obeisance to Sri Ranganadha and Panchanadeeswara.

P sAri veDalina ee kAvErini jooDarE || Take a look at the magnificient river Kaveri.
AP vAru veeranuchu jooDaka tA na
vvArigAbheeshTamula nosaguchu ||
She fulfills the wants of people and cleanses their sins in a very unbiassed way.
C 1 duramuna noka tAvuna garjana bhee
karamoka tAvuna ninDu karuNa tO
niratamuga noka tAvuna naDachuchu
vara kAvEri kanyakAmaNi ||
At one place on hills she runs swiftly and fiercely making thundering noise. At another place she flows gently as if she is showering compassion. Kaveri is like a gem among beautiful maids. She is flowing eternally.

vEDuchu rangESuni joochi mari ee
rEDu jagamulaku jeevanamaina
mooDU renDu nadi nAdhuni jooDa ||
The cuckoo birds on trees near by are singing melodiously in a festive mood. River Kaveri the prop for all living beings is paying obeisance to Ranganadha at Srirangam by washing his sacred feet and is proceeding majestically to see the holy Panchanadipuram the abode of Siva the protector of the fourteen lokas.

Multitudes of priests are standing on both sides of Kaveri, extolling her as Goddess Raja Rajeswari. They are worshipping her with fragrant jaji and jasmine flowers. Beautiful Goddess Kaveri is worshipped by Tyagaraja.

ksheeNamai-mukhAri-Adi

In this Kruti Tyagaraja expounds that yogic powers and fruits of rituals and ceremonies are trancient and adds that devotioal singing, dedicated to Srirama alone frees us from cycle of births and deaths.

P ksheeNamai tiruga janminchE siddhi mAnurA O manasa || O mind, give up attempts to achieve super natural yogic powers which are transcient and will not free anyone from re-birth.
AP geervANa nATAkAlankAra vEda pu
rANa yajNa japatapAdula phalamu ||
The fruits of proficiency in Sanskrit,talent in authoring dramas and literature, religious sacrifices, chanting, meditation and other achievements are liable to decay.

hrudayamuna vahinchi
padilamaina satpadamu nosangE bATa
tyAgarAja vinutuni bhajanarA ||
Any talent must be dedicated to Jagannadha, the lord of universe . He alone bestows emancipation, the safest and venerable state. This path is the devotional singing in praise of Srirama, the lord of Tyagaraja.
