P	parulanu vEDanu patita pAvanuDa ||	Oh Srirama the purifier of the fallen sinners, I would not beg others.
AP	kari varadA neevE kAnkshatO brOvumika ||	Oh Lord, you are the savior of the elephant king Gajendra. You only, should protect me.
C	amaravara needu nAmAtiSayambuchE jeevanamu chEyu chunnAnu tyAgarAja nuta ||	You are the best among all Gods. Your sacred name is the sole prop for my existence and sustenance. Tyagaraja worships you.

P	paluku kanDa chakkeranu gErunE paNatulAra chuDarE ||	Oh beautiful maids, look at beautiful Srirama. His words are sweet like sugar.
AP	koluvu kooTamunu goluchu vArini pilichi dASaradhi prEma meera balikE ||	He is inviting devotees and talking affectionately in his court.
C	surala kAmineemaNula gAna mAdaraNa nAlakinchunu SrungA ra rasayukta vara ramaNulADa juchi sarasa tyAgarAja varunitO pogaDE ||	He is watching beautiful dance and music rendered by celestial singers. Tyagaraja felt that Rama was praising the grandeur and splendour of his court.

P	paralOka sAdhanamE manasA ||	Oh my mind, singing the praise of Srirama only, bestows salvation.
AP	smara lObha mOhAdi pApulanu smariyinchaka SrirAma bhajana ||	Oh mind, don't think of those sinners who engross in desires, avarice, fascination and other evils but sing the praise of Srirama.
C	jananAdi rOga bhayAdulachE jagamandu kalgu durASalachE tanayAdi bAndhavula bhramachE tagalaneedu tyAgarAja nutuni bhajana ||	Srirama Bhajana i.e. singing his praise, will ward off fear of disease since the time of birth. It will eradicate worldly greed . It will wipe off delusion of false attachment towards children and relatives. Tyagaraja worships Srirama.

P	nenarunchinAnu anniTiki needAsuDani nEnu needupai ||	Oh Srirama,please be affectionate. I have immense love for you as your humble servant.
AP	ghana jeemutASuga jaladhi gambhira nee pAdamulapai ||	You are like gust of wind to blow off worst sins which are like dark clouds. You are profound like ocean. I adore your sacred feet.
C	kalilO mATalu nErchukoni kAntalanu tanayulanu brOchuTaku SilAtmuDai paluka nEranura Sri tyAgarAjApta neeyeDa ||	In this Kaliyuga people talk and act smartly to maintain wife and children. I am incapable of adapting such stone-hearted ways. Oh Srirama, you are very dear to Tyagaraja.
