C	kAni mAnavulu karuNa lEka nApai lEni nEramulenchina gAni Sri nijamuga nAchenta jErinagAni rAni needaya tyAgarAjanuta ||	People who are not my well wishers are unkind towards me and falsely accuse me of various crimes.Even if I am blessed with wealth, I only need your mercy. Tyagaraja worships you.

P	nenaruncharA nApaini chAla nee dAsuDanu gAna SrirAma ||	Oh Srirama, please be affectionate to me. Am I not your humble servant ?
AP	sanakAdi yOgi brunda vandya pAda sAkEta vAsa sadbhakta pOsha ||	Sage Sanaka and many Yogis bow to your sacred feet. You dwell at Saketa. You are protector of sincere devotees.
C	talli tandri guru daivamu neevani tarachugAnu ninu nammiyunna nE tallaDilluchunDa dAri jupavEmi tyAgarAja paripAla suguNa Seela ||	I always believed that you are my mother, father, guru and God. When I am in perturbed condition why don't you come to my rescue ? You are paragon of virtues. You are protector of Tyagaraja.

P	kulabirudunu brOchukommu rammu||	Oh Rama, please come. Uphold the prestigious title of your lineage.
AP	ilagala bhudEva surAdula kAdhAruDagu nee ||	You are the prop for learned Brahmanas in the world, Devatas in heaven and other devotees.
C 1	nigamAgama chara neeku nitya mangaLamu kalgu vaga sEyaku SrirAma vandita tyAgarAja ||	You engross in the Vedas and other sacred scriptures. Please assuage me from agony. It is auspicious for you. Oh Srirama, Tyagaraja bows to you.

P	orulanADukO valasinadEmi parama pAvana SrirAma ||	Oh Srirama the most pious lord, why would I accuse others for my plight ?
AP	paritApamu tALaka moraliDagA karuNa lEka neevE nannu chooDaka ||	Unable to bear my sufferings I begged for your compassion. If you also mercilessly ignore me, who else is there for me ?
C 1	manchi vAri sahavAsamu bAsi konchepu narula koraku nuti chEsi yenchina kAryamu kooDani gAsi sahinchakunDeDidi nA pEru vAsi ||	I left company of good people and admired mean fellows. There by I could not perform the jobs I wanted to do. I am frustrated. This is perhaps due to my name or fate .
C 2	rAsiyanuchu narulanu chEbuni vAsiyunDeDi bhavAni ASapriya nE mundu rAni chEsina karma manukOvale gAni ||	I depended on several unreliable people. I can only curse my fate. Sankara the lord of Bhavani adores you.
C 3	dEva tyAgarAja vinuta sanaka bhAvaneeya raghukula tilaka eevarakunu nAdu tanuvalayaka neevE telusukOvale gAka ||	Oh Srirama the jewel of Raghu dynasty, Tyagaraja worships you. You only can understand my miserable plight. Please rescue me before I am exausted.
