This kruti is in praise of Parvati.Tyagaraja describes her as the prop for all demi-gods.He adds that her stories of valor narrating the destruction of demons are well known.

C 2	sura vari kadhana SauryE varuNAlaya sama gAmbhiryE swarajita kOkilarava mAdhurya paritApamu tALanu sucharyE ||	The stories of your valor in destroying the enemies of devatas are well known.You are majestic like an ocean.Sweetness of your voice humbles a cuckoo.I'm unable to bear my anguish.
C 3	Sarma dAyaki gouri dush karma kalusha vana kuThAri nirmala tyAgarAja hrutchari dharma samvardhani OmkAri ||	O Gouri the bestower of happiness,you are like an axe to cut off a forest of evil acts.You stroll in the heart of Tyagaraja. You are the protector of Dharma and the embodiment of 'Omkara'.

In this kruti Tyagaraja says that he committed some misdeeds and says that Rama who protected many others should also ignore his faults because he was always singing his glory.

C	sakala lOkulu phalAphalamulerigi samrakshinchu chu nunDaga nan okkani brOva teliya keertana Sa taka monarchu konna tyAgarAjuni ||	You protect the humanity considering their merits and lapses.I have been singing your glory for a long time. I do not know Why Tyagaraja alone is ignored.

In this kruti Tyagaraja extols the powers,beauty and compassion of Goddess Parvati.

Sripeetaham is your throne.Your blessing hands are adorned with golden bracelets. You are the most pious.You sustain the burden of protecting your devotees. I have faith in your infinite prowess

O Koumari,you delight your spuse Sankara the enemy of Manmadha. You surpass Narada and Tumburu in rendering sweet music. You dispel sins.

Why don't you be always in my sight.You dwell by the side of Kaveri.You are transcendental Katyayini the sister of Rama.
