In this kruti Tyagaraja praises and worships Varada Raja Swamy of Kancheepuram. He says that celestials and sages yearn to serve him.

P	varada rAja ninu gOri vachchEra mrokkEra ||	Oh Lord Varadaraja,I've come to seek your blessings.I prostrate before you.
AP	suralu munulu bhoosurulu chuTTI chuTTi sEvinchE ||	Celestial beings, sages and priests circumambulate you and pray.
C 1	vara giri vaikunThamaTa varNimpa daramu gAdaTa ni rjarulanu tArakamula lO chandruDai merayuduvaTa vara tyAgarAjanuta garuDa sEva jooDa ||	It is beyond my capacity to praise your heavenly abode Varagiri. You shine among sages like the moon amidst countless stars. I've come to witness your grand Garuda (eagle) vahana procession. You are worshipped by Tyagaraja.

P	vArija nayana neevADanu nEnu vArijAnana brOvu ||	Oh lotus eyed Rama,I am yours. Oh Rama ,your face is beautiful like a lotus. Please protect me.
AP	sAreku mAya sAgaramandu nEraka munigE nEmamu lEdu ||	I am not enamoured by the worldly delusion. I'll not sink in it losing my discipline.
C 1	dhana kanakamulanu dArAputrula gaikoni maruvanu ravi tanayuDa gAnu ||	Sugreeva forgot Rama's help in restoring his wife and wealth.I am not like him.
C 2	vAji rathamulanu vAramu gaikoni rAjula naNachu pArtha rAju nE gAnu||	Arjuna took horses and chariots from Krishna to conquer kings. Iam not like him.
C 3	nee japamulu nava vidhulou tyAgarAja vinuta ee durASala dagulanu||	Worshipping you itself is equal to nine methods of worship. (Nava vidha Bhakti i.e.sravana,keertana,smarana,padaseva, archana,vandana,dasya,sakhya,atmanivedana i.e.hearing,singing, remembering,worshipping feet,prayer,bowing,serving,friendship, and self surrender)

This kruti describes the chariot festival of Kanchi Varadaraja Swamy temple.Tyagaraja describes the deities in procession.

P	vinatAsuta vAhanuDai veDalenu kanchi varaduDai ||	Lord Varadaraja Swamy of Kancipuram came out on his vehicle Garuda(eagle) bird.
AP	vanajAsanAdi suralu sanakAdi munulu koluva ||	He came out while Brahma,Celestials, Sanaka and other sages were worshipping.
C 1	nera vaiSAkhOtsavamuna Sata dinakaru ludayinchirO yana paschima gOpura dwAramuna charAcharamulaku bAga vara tyAgarAjunaku bAga delupa ||	On the holy Visakha festival day, the deity was shinning as if it is the radiance of a hundred suns. The Lord came out from the western gate to appear before the entire world consisting of movable and immovable creatures. Tyagaraja is blessed to know this.

In this kruti Tyagaraja pays obeisance to the primordial God Siva the embodiment of Pranava Nadam and Sama Vedam. He also pays reverence to the Gods and sages that engross themselves in the divine Nadam of music.

C 1	kamalA gouri vAgeeswari vidhi garuDa dhwaja Siva nAradAdulu amarESa bharata kASyapa chanDeeSAnjanEya guha gaja mukhulu ||	Lakshmi, Parvati, Saraswati, Brahma, Garuda, Siva, Narada, Indra, Bharata, Kasyapa, Chandisa, Anjaneya,Guha and Ganesa immerse in the eternal bliss by engrossing in 'Nadam'.
C 2	sumrukanDuja kumbhaja tumburu vara sOmEswara SarngadEva nandi pramukhulaku tyAgarAja vandyulaku brahmAnanda sukhAmbudhi marma ||	Markandeya, Agastya, Tumburu, Someswara, Sargnadeva, Nandi, and other eminent scholars engross in supreme bliss of the ocean of nectarine music and its absolute essence.

P	viDa jAladu rA nA manasu vinarA ||	Oh Rama,please listen,it is impossible for my mind to get distracted from your feet.
AP	aDiyASala chE dagili nEnArti baDina padambulanu ||	Even when I am in distress due to vain desires, I can't leave your feet.
C 1	tanuvE panulaku chanina mari kAnarAnidi kanugonina ninuga bhAvinchi santasillina Sri tyAgarAja nuta ||	Even when my body is engaged in routine jobs,even when my eyes observe the worthless things,my mind contemplates on you only and even rejoices. Oh Lord Rama,you are worshipped by Tyagaraja.

P	vara Sikhi vAhana vArija lOchana kuruSam tanujita kusuma SarAyuta ||	Oh eminent lord Kumara swamy,your vehicle is peacock. In beauty you excel thousands of Manmathas. Please bestow me happiness.
AP	Saraja bhavAmbuda vAhanAdi sura nuta pada suguNa kumAra ||	Oh kumara,you are born in reeds. Indra and other devatas worship your feet.You are virtuous.
C 1	tAraka Soora pAdmAsura toola dahana bhoodhara sutAnandana dheera Sree raghu veera bhAginEyApta man dAra guNAkara tyAga rAjArchita ||	The demons Taraka,Soora and padmasura are just like pieces of cotton and your valour is like fire. You are the dear son of Parvati, the daughter of Himavanta. You are Rama's intimate nephew. (Parvati is the sister of Vishnu) You are like the auspicious tree Mandara.You are ocean of virtues. Tyagaraja worships you.
