In this krithi, Tyagaraja describes the beauty and virtues of Srirama. He says that Rama is the essence of Vedas and that he is like the Sun, blooming Tyagaraja's lotus-like heart.

P	rAmA ninnE namminAnu nikkamuga sitA ||	Oh Sita Rama,I sincerely believed you only.
AP	kAma janaka kamaniya vadana nanu kAvavE karuNA jaladhE ||	You are the progenitor of Manmadha and your face is beautiful.You are ocean of compassion.Please protect me.
C 1	sAra sAmAdi vEda sAra santata budha vihAra rAjita muktA hAra kanaka kEyura dhara suguNa parAvAra surAdhita pada ||	You are the essence of Sama and other Vedas.You move in the company of intellectuals.Your pearl garlands shine brightly.You are adorned with golden armlets.Your virtues are ocean-like. Devatas worship your feet.
C 2	dheera sujana hrutpanjara keera nee pada bhakti mA keera madana sundarAkAra danuja samhAra dushTajana doora raghu kulOdhdharOdhA rOdAra ||	You are very brave.You are like a bird in the cage-like hearts of pious persons.Your beauty is enchanting.You are the destroyer of demons.You keep the wicked ones at a distance. You elevated the glory of Raghu dynasty.
C 3	rAja rAja vandita bhooja nAyaka sura sa mAja Srikara tyAgarAja tanaya Sri ||	All the kings bow to you.You are their leader. You grant prosperity to Devatas.You are like the Sun to the lotus-like heart of Tyagaraja.You are the noble son of Dasaradha.

In this kruti Tyagaraja says that his great fascination for Sri Rama is because of His grace only.

P	rAmA neepai tanaku prEma bOdu sitA ||	Oh Sita Rama,my love for you will never cease.
AP	tAmarasa nayana needEmO mAya gAni ||	Oh lotus eyed Rama,it is all your maya(mystic influence).
C 1	manasu nee padamula nE jEra kanulu nee roopamunE kOra vinu nee pErulakE nOroora tana pai idi nee karuNe rA||	My heart pines to reach your feet. My eyes yearn to look at you. I pray,please listen. My mouth waters to recite your names. This is nothing but your grace.
C 2	jananee janakAptulanyulu dhana kanaka guru vElpulu dinamu neevE yani mATalu anagA ivi nA bhooshaNamulu ||	Oh my lord Rama, sweet words that praise you as my father,as my mother, as my master,as my intimate one, as my wealth and as my favorite God are my precious jewels.
C 3	bhOgAnubhavamu landu bAguga buddhi neeyandu tyAgarAjuni hrudayamandu vAgeeSAnandamandu ||	I think of you only even when I get rich and happy. You are in the heart of Tyagaraja bestowing supreme bliss.

In this kruti Tyagaraja extoles the greatness of Rama in having the most devoted wife Sita and the most obedient brothers .

P	rAma nee samAna mevaru raghu vamSOddhAraka ||	Oh Rama,you glorified Raghu dynasty. Who can be equal to you?
AP	bhAma maruvampu molaka bhaktyanu panjarapu chilaka ||	Your beloved wife Sita is slender like the fragrant majoram(maruvam) She is devoted to you like a pet parrot.
C 1	paluku palukulaku tEneloluku mATalADu sOda rulu gala hari tyAgarAja kula vibhoosha mrudu subhAshA ||	You are fortunate to have brothers whose talk is gentle and sweet like honey drops.You are the most precious jewel of your lineage. Your speech is refined,gentle and sweet.

P	rAga sudhA rasa pAnamu jEsi rAjillavE oh manasA||	Oh my mind,drink the essence of swaras ragas and nadam and shine brilliantly.
AP	yAga yOga tyAga bhOgaphala mosangE ||	It will bestow the fruits of sacrifices, rituals, Yoga,tyaga(renunciation) and worldly happiness.
C 1	sadA Siva maya magu nAdOmkAra swara vidulu jeevan muktulani tyAgarAju teliyu ||	Tyagaraja knows that those who engross in'nada'produced by singing swaras and ragas ultimately merge with the divine Siva. They get emancipation in this birth only.

In this kruti Tyagaraja stresses the importance of marriage and loving support to a woman.He surrenders 'punyam' earned by him and his erudition at the feet of Rama.

P	raghu vara nannu maruva tagunA ||	Oh Rama the best among raghu dynasty, is it fair for you to forget me?
AP	nagadhara bhakta janAgha nivAraNa ||	Oh Lord,you lifted the Govardhana mountain. you dispel the sins of devotees.
C 1	talli tandrulannadammulunna polatiki okaDu purushunDounA ||	Though there are parents and siblings, a woman's life is not complete without spouse.
C 2	para daivamulu bagu sommulu sura nuta mangaLasootra mounA ||	There may be many other Gods but none is equal to Rama. No other ornament is equal to MangaLa sootram (sacred thread around neck signifying a married woman).
C 3	chEsina puNya chayamu brAhmaNya ASa nosagiti anupama lAvaNya manasuna neekai marulu konnAnu sa jjana hita tyagarAja vinuta rAmA ||	Piety (puNyam) accumulated by doing righteous deeds,the spiritual knowledge acquired as brahmana, and all my desires,I dedicate at the feet of Rama. Oh Rama,my heart pines for you. You are the benefactor of the virtuous. You are worshipped by Tyagaraja.

In this kruti Tyagaraja adores Hari with a garland of a hundred ragas which are embellished with the Vedas and its branches of philosophy. He hopes that the garland of the melodious ragas would bestow him salvation.

P	rAga ratna mAlikachE ranjillu naTa Hari Sata ||	Hari is immensely pleased with the garland made of a hundred melodious ragas.
AP	bAga sEvinchi sakala bhAgya mandudamu rArE ||	Come,adore him ,let us be bestowed with abundant fortune.
C 1	naigama shaTschAstra purANAgamArtha sahitamaTa yOgivarulu Anandamu nondE sanmArgamaTa bhAgavatOttamulu gooDi pADE keertanamulaTa tyAgarAju kaDa tEra tArakamani chEsina Sata ||	The garland of ragas is embellished with the essence of vedas,the six sastras,the epics and the Agamas(science of archtecture).It is said that the sages and seers are blessed with eternal bliss by such adoration of God. They are devotional songs that the most fervent devotees sing and immerse in.The garland of ragas would bless salvation to Tyagaraja.
