She kept pretty Ranga on her lap, plaited his hair and decorated with flowers. Before he started crying she would decorate him with beautiful pendant joyfully.

She gave bath to Krishna who is ever unblemished.
She seated him on her lap fed him with her milk.
She fondled and kissed him. She rocked his cradle with immense love.

She smeared sacred ash on Krishna to drive away evil spirits.
She offered auspicious 'Harati' . She waved salt and neem leaves around
his face to ward off evil spirits. She kept him in cradle and rocked it gently.
