When Devendra and other great Devatas prostrate before you, light rays emanating from their gem-studded crowns reflect dazzlingly on your holy feet.

You excel the moon in beauty. You dispel the arrogance of wicked demons to reduce burden on the earth. You dwell on lotus flower. Your majestic gait resembles king elephant's walk. Your eye-brows are more beautiful than Manmadha's bow. When you raise your eyebrows in anger ignorance of the wicked vanishes. Your forehead is auspicious with Tilaka. You are splendid with gold ornaments. Ascetics devoid of ego keep you in their hearts. Celestial damsels sing of your virtues. Your smile is bright like the fullmoon. Oh Goddess Vani, you are victorious.

Your delicate fingers plucking Veena strings subdue the tenderness of leaves. You dispel sorrows of devotees. Your braids decorated with flowers attract honey bees. Your eyes are beautiful like lotus flower. Your bosom is smeared with fragrant musk and camphor. Your waist is slim like lion's. You are personification of transcendental knowledge. You are the queen of the universe.

You are adorned with crescent moon. You are committed to protect devotees. You are known for destroying horrible sins. Your heart is full of compassion. Your face is beautiful with curly locks. Even the thousand-hooded chief of serpents cannot fully describe your prowess. Oh Bharati, dispel my ignorance. Lord Siva who has third eye on forehead adores you. Oh Goddess Bharati, you always worship Lord Padmanabha.
