Oh Mother Sarada, your tresses are more beautiful than clouds. You give incomparable happiness to your consort Brahma. Sage Narada extolls your glory. You cut asunder horrible sins. Your speech is auspicious. Your eyes are like lotus petals. You fulfill desires. Your bosom is comparable to elephant's head. You are slim and modest. May I be totally engaged in your worship.

There is pleasant fragrance of sandalwood and musk around you. Devotees prostrate at your feet to purify their minds. You are sweet natured and delicate. Your gentle gait resembles King elephant's walk and swan's gait. Your speech is auspicious. You eradicate agony. Let your holy feet be always in my mind to dispel my ignorance. Your enchanting visage humbles the beauty of the moon.

Oh Mother, you are effulgent. Saunaka, Kausika and other ascetics worship you. Your graceful eyes enable us grasp Vedas. You dwell on bright lotus. You are splendid during "Nava Ratri" festivals. Your lustrous ornaments belittle Devendra's Vajrayudha. You are the embodiment of Vedas. Please remain on my tongue always and keep me cool. Oh Mother, please protect me.
