He is dear to his consort Sambhavi. He adorns the moon on his head. His lotus-like feet bestow salvation. He likes song in Kabhoji Ragam.

Sridhara purandarAdi dikpAla
sanandanAdi sakala dEva nutAya
mAdhurya sudhA dhArAya

He is protector of pious ascetics. He bestows happiness. He is Guru Guha's father. He is bestower of boons. All Vedas and other scriptures extolled his glory. Maha Vishnu, Devendra and other regents of principal directions adore him. Sage Sanandana and other celestials worship him. His mercy flows like fountain of sweet nectar. He skillfully bestowed eternity to Markandeya.
