P	Sree satyanarAyaNa mupAsmahE nityam satya jnAnAnanda mayam sarvam vishNu mayam ||	Worship Sri Satyanarayana regularly. He is the embodiment of truth, knowledge, and bliss. He is the all pervading Vishnu.
AP	vAsavAdi poojitam vara muni bhAvitam dAsajana paripAlitam bhAsamAna badaree sthitam ||	He is worshipped by Indra, and the blessed sages contemplate on him. He protects the devotees and flourishes in all his glory at Badari.
C 1	vysyajAti kAraNam vaTu vEsha dhAriNam kaliyuga prasannam vasu pradAna nipuNam matsya koorma varAhAdi daSAvatAra prabhavam Sankha chakrAbja hastam guru guha nuta prasiddham ||	He is the creator of merchant class. He took the disguise of a Brahmana bachelor. He is the most benevolent God in Kaliyuga that bestows prosperity. He manifested himself in the ten incarnations, namely the fish, the turtle, the boar, the man lion, etc. He weilds conch, discus, and a lotus on his hands. He is very well acclaimed and worshipped by Guru Guha.

In this kruti Dikshitar prays to Goddess Saraswati the consort of Brahma saying that even Indra and other gods worship her.

P	Sree saraswati namOstutE varadE para dEvate Sree pati gouree pati guru guha vinute vidhi yuvate||	Oh Saraswathi, I bow to you. You are the transcendental goddess. Please shower boons. Vishnu, the Lord of Lakshmi, Siva, the Lord of Gauri, and Guru Guha adore you. You are the young consort of Brahma.
AP	vAsanA traya vivarjita vara muni bhAvita moorte vAsavAdyakhila nirjara vara vitaraNa bahu keertE dara hAsa yuta mukhAmbu ruhE adbhuta charaNAmburuhE samsAra bheetyApahE sakala mantrAkshara guhE ||	You are devoid of the three vasanaas.(impressions of attachment) The blessed sages contemplate on you. Indra and the other celestial beings praise your benevolent nature very much. Your lotus like face is lustrous with charming smile. Your lotus feet are marvelous. You avert all the wordly fears. You are the embodiment of all mystic syllables and Mantras.

In this kruti Dikshitar praises Lord Subrahmanya saying that he took the form of great serpents like Vasuki and that he vanquished Taraka and other demons.

P	Sri subrahmaNyAya namastE namastE manasija kOTi kOti lAvaNyAya deena SaraNyAya ||	Oh Sree Subrahmanya. I bow to you again and again. Your beauty exceeds the beauty of a million cupids. You are the refuge to the hapless.
AP	bhoosurAdi samasta jana poojitAbja charaNyAya vAsuki takshakAdi sarpa swaroopa dharaNAya vAsavAdi sakala dEva vanditAya varENyAya dAsa janAbheeshTaprada dakshatarAgragaNyAya ||	Brahmanas and all others worship your lotus feet. You took the form of Vasuki, Takshaka and all other great serpents. Indra and other kings bow to you. You are the most skillful Subrahmanya that fulfills the desires of devotees. I bow to you.
C 1	tAraka simhamukha Soora padmAsura samhartrE tApatraya haraNa nipuNa tatvOpadESa kartrE veera nuta guru guha yajgnAnadhwanta savitrE vijaya vallee bhartrE SaktyAyudha dhartrE dheerAya nata vidhAtrE dEvarAja jAmAtrE bhoorAdi bhuvana bhOktrE bhOga mOksha pradAtrE ||	You vanquished the demons Taraka, Simhamukha, and Soorapadmasura.You are an expert in dispelling the three sorts of afflictions (physical, spiritual, and divine) and you are adept in preaching spiritual philosophy. You are adored by warriors. You are Guru Guha that eradicates ignorance like the sun dispelling darkness. You are the consort of Vijayavalli and the son-in-law of Indra. You weild the most powerful weapons. You are valiant and Brahma bows to you. The earth and all the other lokas are at your disposal. You are the bestower of happy life and also salvation. I bow to you.

In this kruti Dikshitar pays obeisance to Sri Venugopala the loving husband of Rukmini and the protector of Bheema and Arjuna.

AP	dEvaki sukumAra deenajana mandAra govardha nOdhddhAra gOpa yuvatee jAra ||	You are the beloved son of Devaki. You are like 'Mandara' the wishfulfilling flower to the distressed. You lifted the Govardhana hill. You allured the shepherd maids.
C 1	gOkulAmbudhi sOma gOvinda nata bhouma Sri kuranjita kAma Srita satyabhAma kOkanada pada sOma guru guha hita syAma Srikara tapOhOma Sri jayantee nAma prAkaTya raNabheema pAlitArjuna bheema pAkaripunuta nAma bhakta yOga kshEma ||	You are like the moon to the ocean like Gokula clan. You are GOvinda,bowed to by the kings. You are the conquerer of desires. SatyabhAma is your dear consort. You shine like the moon. Your feet are like lotus. You are Syama the benefactor of guru Guha. You bestow prosperity to the performers of sacrifices and penance. You shine with the name 'Sri Jayanti' You are valiant and you protected Bheema and Arjuna. Indra worships you. You take care of your devotees well.

In this kruti Dikshitar extols Sridevi, the supreme goddess of Sri Chakra. This song is in praise of the Devatas in the third zone of Srichakra and the lyric was written in third vibhakti(case).The emotion is compassion (Karuna) (Srichakram is a symbolic diagram used in worshipping to propitiate Goddess Sri Devi)

AP	pAkaSAsanAdi sakala dEvatA sEvitAyA pankajAsanAdi pancha krutya krudbhAvitAya SOka hara chatura padayAmooka mukhya vAkpradAya kOkanada vijaya padayA guru guha tatrai padayA ||	Let me be blessed by Sridevi who is adored by Indra and other multitudes of Devatas. She is meditated upon by Brahma and other Gods, She is well versed in five holy activities. She emancipates us by her divine words. She bestowed power of speech to 'mooka'. Her feet humble the beauty of red lotus flowers. She is the ultimate purpose of Kumara swamy's preachings.
C 1	ananga kusumadyashTa SaktyAkArAyA aruNa varNa samksObhana chakrAgArAyA ananta kOTyanDa nAyaka Sankara nAikAyA apavarNAtmaka gupta taraya varAyA anangadyupAsitAyA ashTa daLAbja sthitAya dhanurbANa dhara karAya dayA sudha sAgarAyA ||	Let me be blessed by Sridevi who is the embodiment of the eight super natural powers like ananga, kusuma etc. She is in the form of saffron colored 'Srichakra' that dispels all grief. She is the consort of Sankara the Supreme lord of the infinite number of lokas. She is the embodiment and soul of eight great attributes of Yogini. She is wordhipped by Manmatha and other Gods, She is the presiding deity of the third zone of Srichakram. She wields a bow on her hand She is the ocean of compassion.

In this kruthi Dikshitar worshipped the presiding devatas of the fifth zone of Srichakra. He uses panchami vibhakthi ( 5th case) in this kriti. He extoles her saying that no other transcendental power is greater than Sridevi, who is the source of inspiration to 'non-dualism' and who dispels all ignorance. It is said to evoke the 'Bheebhatsa rasa' ( unbearable sight)

P	Sri kamalAmbAyAh param nahirE rEchitta ksityAdi SivAnta tatva swaroopinyAh ||	Oh my mind, nothing is more transcendental than Mother Kamalambika the embodiment of the various philosophic truths right from the infinite Siva to the earthly matter .
AP	SreekanTha vishNu virinchAdi janaitryAh SivAtmaka viSwakartryAh kArayitryAh Sri kara bahirdaSARa chakra sthityA ssEvita bhairavee bhArgavee bhAratyAh ||	Mother Sridevi is the divine Mother of Siva, Vishnu and Brahma. She created the magnificient universe. She presides over the fifth zone of Sreechakram which is the emblem of prosperity. She is worshipped by Bhairavi, Bhargavi and Bharati.
C 1	nAda maya sookshma roopa sarva sidhdhi pradAdi dasa SaktyArAdhita moortEh SrOtrADi daSa karaNAtmaka kuLa kouLikAdi bahu vidhOpAsita keertEh abhEda nitya Sudhdha budhdha mukta satchidAnanda paramAdwaita sphoortEh Adi madhyAntArahitApramEya guru guha mOdita sarvArtha sAdhaka poortEh moolAdi navAdhAra vyAvrutta dasa dhvani bhEdajna yOgi brunda surakshinyAh anAdi mAyA vidyA kArya kArana vinOda haraNa paduttara kaTAkasha veekshanyAh ||	She is worshipped by the powerful Saktis like 'sarva siddhi prada'etc in the form of all pervading microscopic forms. She is worshipped in many ways by Kula Koulika and other mendicants ( yoginis) responsible for all Dharma (righteousness) of sensory organs and organs of action. She is the source of inspiration to the supreme faith 'nondualism'. She is 'Satchidanandam' the ever pure, omnisient and detached. She is eternal. The eminent Guru Guha who is eternal and who is above all bondage obeys Mother Sreedevi the ultimate aspiration for all. She pretects the Yogis who are capable of discerning the ten sorts of sounds heard from the nine sources like 'moola' etc Time old ignorance, delusion, the evil effects of action and inaction are dispelled in no time by her grace. There is no better transcendental power than Sridevi.

This is the seventh Navavarana keertana written in seventh vibhakti (case). Dikshitar describes Mother Sridevi as deity with form ,as deity without form and with Srichakra 'Mantras' as names.She is known as Raja yogini that dispels all ailments and bestows bliss.

P	Sri kamalAmbikAyAm bhaktim karOmi Srita kalpa vATikAyAm chanDikAyAm jagadambikAyAm ||	I have immense devotion in Kamalambika. She is like kalpataru the divine wish fulfilling tree. I adore her appearence as Chandika or Durga who rule the universe.
AP	rAkA chandra vadanAyAm rAjeeva nayanAyAm pAkAri nuta charaNAyAm AkASAdi kiraNAyAm hreemkAra vipina hariNyAm hreemkAra suSareeraNyAm hreemkAra taru manjaryAm hreemkArEswaryAm gouryAm ||	She is beautiful like the fullmoon with eyes like lotus petals. I worship her feet.She is adored by Indra. The five elements,earth,water, light, air and sky are the rays that emanate from her. She is the 'mantra'hreemkara' which is like a deer moving in a forest. She manifests in the mantra hreemkara with her perfect body. She is like the flower of 'hreemkara'tree. She is Gouri the form of 'hreemkara'

Indra,Brahma,Vishnu and Maheswara comprehend her yogic powers. She is the embodiment of the Goddess of Speech. All the deseases in this mutable universe are dispelled by her. She is the embodiment of 'Raja Yogam'( A type of practice) she frees us from all worries. She is engrossed in playing Veena and graces herself at Kamalapuram(tiruvarur) she bestows perpetual bliss to Devatas and sages. She bestows boons to the esteemed Guru Guha. I impose all my faith and devotion in Mother Sridevi.

AP	lOka pAlini kapAlini Soolinee lOka jananee bhaga mAlini sakrudAlOkaya mAm sarva sidhdhi pradAyikE tripurAmbikE bAlAmbikE ||	You are the sovereign ruler of the universe. You are kapalini(holder of skull) and also trident. You are the universal mother that watches our good deeds and that confers us powers. You are Tripurambika and Balambika.
C 1	samtapta hEma sannibha dEhE sadAkhanDaika rasa prabhAvE santApa hara trikONa gEhE sa kAmEswaree Sakti samoohE santatam mukti ghanTAmaNi ghOshaya mAna kavATa dwArE ananta guru guha viditE karAnguLi nakhoudaya vishnu daSAvatArE antah karaNEkshu kArmuka SabdAdi panchanmAtra viSikhAtyanta rAga pASa dvEshAnkuSa dhara karE ati rahasya yOgini parE ||	Your body has the lustre of purified gold. You are the perpetual bestower of sublime bliss. You dwell at Trikona(symbolic figure of worship). You ameliorate our agony. You are Kameswari assisted by a host of Devatas. The doors of your abode always ring with sublime sound that bestows salvation. Eternal Guru Guha understands you. You created the ten incarnations from your nails to destroy Bhandasura. You hold sugarcane bow in your hand (symbol of conscience) The five arrows on your hand are five 'Mathras'. Noose on your hand is the symbol of attachment and goad is the symbol of hatred. You are the supreme Goddess and the most incomprehensible Yogini.

In this Navavarana keertana Dikshitar hails Sri Kamalamba in all the eight cases of nouns in the same kruti.Various prepositions like by, for,in, with etc. are used to praise the Goddess Kamalamba. The kriti visualises the 'Binduroopa"i.e.point form, the eigth zone of Srichakram which is considered to evoke Santa Rasa(serenity).

You are the fusion of all Rasas, (emotions & feeling) personified. Sri Kamalamba is the personified reflection of Super conscience with the unparalleled beauty of the moon. Sri Kamalamba flourishes in supreme splendour at the point called Sripura, in the wish-fulfilling Chintamani pavillion sitting on the lap of Siva.
AP	sookarAna vAdyArchita mahA tripura sundareem rAja rAjEswareem suvAsineem Srikara sarvAnanda maya chakra vAsineemchintayEham divAkara seeta karaNa pAvakAdi vikAsa parayA bheekara tApatrayAdi bhEdana dhureeNa tarayA pAka ripu pramukhAdi prArdhita sukaLEbaraya prAkaTya parA parayA pAlitO dayA karayA ||	I meditate upon Maha Tripura Sundari who is also Rajeswari propitiated by Varahi with the face of a boar.She is the bestower of salvation and dwells in the Chakra of Supreme bliss. She is Suvasini and I am protected by her. The Sun,the Moon and the Fire shine because of her. The three fearce afflictions of body,mind and spirit are assuaged by her.Her divine form is worshipped by Indra and other deities.She manifests herself in transcendental and emperical forms. She incarnates in the form of nine Yoginis and transcendental yoginis. She is the ocean of compassion.

She is the transcendental Goddess that is propitiated by goddesses like Vama and Jyeshtha. She is the creator par excellence. She is the supreme conscience meditated upon by Manmatha(cupid) and his twelve savants. They chant Mantras beginning with letters ka,ha,and sa to learn various fields of knowledge. Let my conscience be absorbed in Kamalambika the beloved spouse of Siva and the dear mother of Guru Guha.She is the illuminant of the all pervading bliss. She is the omnicient judge of all names and their forms. She reveals the art of love. She is the proof of Samaveda.She infuses the quality of social amity.

In this mangalam song sung at the end of the recital of 'Navavarana Krutis', Dikshitar praises Sri Kamalambika addressing her with many names seeking for protection. this keetana is also pertaining to 'Srividya'(Knowledge about Mother Sridevi)

You protected Kolamukhi. You are the companion of Lakshmi and Saraswati. You engross yourself in Raja Yoga You are slender Sakambari. You are Sankari that delights Sankara, Guruguha and all devotees. You are propitiated by a mono syllable. You are the emperess of the world. You make Siva happy. You are Maha Tripura Sundari' that bestows happiness and prosperity.

In this kruti Dikshitar prays to Parvati, the universal goddess and the most beautiful one of Srinagara.He praises her saying that she is the embodiment of Supreme Conciousness.

P	Sree neelOtpala nAyikE jagadambikE Srinagara nAyikE mAmava vara dAyikE ||	Oh Sri Neelotpala nayika (heroine of blue lotus) You are the supreme Goddess of the universe. You are the Goddess at Srinagara. You protect us showering boons.
AP	deena janArti prabhanjana reeti gouravE dESika pradarSita chidrupiNi naTa bhairavE AnandAtmAnubhavE adrirAja samudbhavE soona SarAri vaibhavE jnAna sudhArNavE SivE ||	You are venerated in all glory for your compassion towards helpless.The Acharyas(masters) acclaim you as the embodiment of supreme conciousness. Bhairava worships you. You are blissful, by nature. Himavanta the king of mountains is your dear father. Siva the enemy of Manmatha(cupid) glorifies you. You are the consort of Siva and you are the nectarine ocean of knowledge.

The virtuous ones worship you. You are the source behind the compassion of an ideal guru. You obliterate our tribulations. You are perfect and favorable to Guru Guha. You are the supreme cause of creation,sustenance and dissolution. You captivated Siva with your miraculous deeds. You are Sankari,the all merciful.Your costume is golden. Your eyes are large and lotus like. You are adorned with necklaces studded with precious rubies. Sankara adores you. You are Sarada who engrosses in mellifluous music.

In this kruti Dikshitar prays to Lord Ganapati,the elephant headed God and the elder brother of Guha.He says that he is like a boat to help us cross the ocean of problems.

P	Sri mahA gaNapati ravatu mAm siddhi vinAyako mAtanga mukha ||	May Sree Maha Ganapati protect me. He is Vinayaka with elephant head possessing many powers.
AP	kAmajanaka vidheendra sannuta kamalAlaya taTa nivAsO kOmalatara pallava padakara guruguhAgraja SivAtmajah ||	Vishnu, Brahma, and Indra adore him. He resides on the bank of Kamalalaya temple tank. His hands and feet are delicate. He is the elder brother of Guru Guha and the dear son of Siva.
C 1	suvarNAkarshaNa vighna rAjO padAmbujO goura va rNa vAsana dharO bAlachandrO nAradAdi vinuta lambOdarO kuvalaya swavishANa pASAn kuSa mOdaka prakASa karO bhava jaladhi nAvO moola prakruti swabhAva sukha tarO ravi sahasra sannibha dEhO kavi jana nuta mooshika vAhO avanata dEvatA samoohO avinASa kaivalya dEhO ||	He is attractive like gold and is the remover of all obstacles.His feet are lotus like and his attire is white. He is beautiful like a crescent moon and all the men worship him. He has a sagging belly. He holds his tusk with his trunk. He shines with a noose, goad, and modak (sweet dish) in his hands. He is like a boat to cross the ocean like worldly problems. By nature, he makes all happy. His body has the effulgence of a thousand Suns. He is adored by learned poets. His vehicle is a mouse. Multitudes of Devatas bow to him. He is eternal. He bestows absolute emancipation (kyvalya).
