A poor devotee of low caste who is devoted to the feet of Vishnu is greater than a Somayaji who is well versed in Vedas but not free from worldly attachment and not devoted to Hari.

A low caste person who is devoted to Hari's feet is greater than a Sanyasi though well versed in Vedas with no devotion to Sri Hari.
