C 1	pAtaka kOTulu bhavamulu bhasmee bhootamu sEyaga boDavokaTE taruNeepati chinta nijamugA Etari chittam berugadugAni ||	Meditating upon Sri Venkatesa the lord of Lakshmi only can burn away crores of worst sins and worldly afflictions. But this wavering mind is not recognising it.
C 2	maraNabhayambulu madamulu malinee karaNamu sEyaga galadokaTE harinAmAmruta mandu meedi rati niratamu nAkidi niluvadugAni ||	Intense love for the elixir of Hari's sacred name can destroy fear of death and other evils like arrogance. But I am not able to keep steady interest in his devotion.
C 3	kuTilamulunu durguNamulunu truNee krutamulu sEyaga gurutokaTE patiyagu vEnkaTapati sEvArati gatiyani matigani kAnadugAni ||	Lord Venkateswara is the only device which can blow off all evils and sufferings like a straw. My mind observes but does not understand that he is my ultimate refuge.
