P	andukE pO neepai nAsa puTTi kolichEdi mandalinchitinika mari nee chittamu ||	O lord Venkatesa, I've been worshipping you with absolute faith. I trust you'll not belie my hopes. I leave it to your will.
C 1	indaru cheppaga vinTi evvarikaina vishNuDE kanduva mOksha miyya karta yanagA mundE vinTi nAraduDu munchi ninnu bADagA ponduga lOkamuna poojyuDAyenanuchu ||	I heard from wise persons that Vishnu alone is capable of bestowing salvation. I also heard that sage Narada became the most adorable sage by singing your praise always.
C 2	appaTi vinTi lOkamu lanniTiki hariyE rakshakatvAnaku garta yanagA ippuDe vinTi dhruvuDu iTu ninnu nutinchE uppatilli paTTamElu chunnADanuchunu ||	I heard that Hari alone protects and sustains the universe. I also heard that Dhruva rose to the most prestigious position in the firmament by meditating upon you.
C 3	ide vinTi Sri vEnkaTESa brahmaku tanDrivai kadisi buTTincha bencha kartavanuchu vadalaka vinTi neeku vAlmeeki kAvyamu cheppa chedara kAdyula lO brasiddhuDAye nanuchu ||	Now I heard that Venkatesa the father of Brahma creates and sustains the universe. Not only that , I even heard that Poet Valmiki authered the great epic Ramayana and became the poet parexcellence.

In this Padam Annamaiah explains the advantages of keeping one's mind under control. He explains it with several examples.

P	andukE summee nEjEsE AchArAlu daivAmA nindavAya nA manasu neepai nilupavE ||	O God,all my customs and prayers are only meant to make me unblemished. Please bestow me concentration.
C 1	baTTa bayaTa dOlitEnu bande mEyu basuramu paTTi mEpitEnu tana panulu sEyu iTTe vadalitEnu endaina bAru manasu kaTTuka nEmastuDaitE kaivasamai yunDunu ||	If cattle is let free they graze and spoil the crop and may be imprisoned. If their master controls them they will do his work properly. So also disciplined life keeps mind under control.
C 2	baDi dappitE banTlu para dEsulouduru eDayaka kooDu konTE hitulouduru viDichitE niTulanE kaDaku bAru manasu ODalitO naNachitE voddikai vunDunu ||	If there are no restrictions servants leave their work. If they are at work , they will be helpful to their master. Mind under one's own control is more useful.
C 3	chEvadalitE penchina chilukaina mEDa lekku rAvinchi gooTa beTTitE rAma yanunu bhAvincha kunDitE iTTe pAru nendaina manasu Sree vEnkaTESu golichitE chEta jikki vunDunu ||	Even pet parrot flies away to the top of buildings if you let it go. The same parrot kept in cage will chant the name of Rama. One who worships Venkatesa can hold his mind unwavering.

In this Padam Annamaiah declares that Sri Maha Vishnu is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient.

P	vishNuDokkaDE viSwAtmakuDu vaishNavamE sarvambunu ||	Vishnu alone is the soul of the entire universe and cosmos. Everything is the manifestation of Vishnu.
C 1	paramEshTi sEyu brahmAnDa srushTiyu haruni lOni samhAra Sakti paraga nindruni paripAlanamunu arasi chooDa Sree hari mahima ||	Brahma's power of creation, Siva's power of dissolution and Indra's ruling power are only due to the supreme power of Srihari.
C 2	ila pancha bhootamulalO guNamulu ala navagraha vihAramulu talakonu kAla traya dharmambunu alaraga nArAyaNuni mahimalE ||	The five elements of nature namely earth, water, light, wind, sky and their nature: smell, essence, form, touch and sound ,revolution of the nine planets and the fundamental truths of past,present and future are due to the Supreme power of Narayana.
C 3	antaTa gala mAyA vilAsamulu ponta parama pada bhOgamulu mantuku nekkina mari samastamunu intayu Sree vEnkaTESu mahimalE ||	The world of delusion,the bliss of the enlightened souls is also due to the supreme power of Sri Venkatesa.

In this padam Annamaiah decries the futility of caste arrogance. He preaches that we should overcome it and believe that Dharma is the fundamental truth.

P	vijAtulanniyu vrudhA vrudhA ajAmilAdula kadi E jAti? ||	Castesm is absolutely wasteful. Which caste does Ajamila and others belong to ?
C 1	jAti bhEdamulu Sareera guNamulu jAti Sareeramu sari tODanE cheDu Atuma pari Suddham beppuDunu adi nirdOshambanAdi eetala hari vijnAnapu dASyam bidi yokkatE pO sujAti	Caste differences exist with body and vanish with body. Soul is unblemished and immortal. All devotees of Srihari who keep him in their conscience belong to the best caste.
C 2	hari indarilO nantarAtmuDitaDide dharaNi jAti bhEdamu lenchina parama yOgulu bhAva mashTa madamu bhava nikAramani mAniri dharaNi lOna paratatva jNAnamu dhara moolamE sujAti ||	Hari is in the conscience of all. Differences are due to eight kinds of pride(due to food,money,women, knowledge, caste,beauty,status and youth). The supreme Yogis rejected them as evils. They realised that transcendental wisdom is the truth and such believers form the best caste.
C 3	loukika vaidika lampaTulaku nivi kaikonu navaSya kartavyambulu Sri kAntuDu Sri vEnkaTapati sEsina sampAdana mindariki mEkoni inniyu meerina vAriki mee nAmamE sujAti ||	Those who are engrossed in Vedic rituals believe that caste is important. This is due to Maya of Vishnu. Those who cross this hurdle realise that believers in Venkatapati's name belong to the best caste.
