In this song Annamaiah expresses that Lord Venkatesa chose to grace himself at Venkatadri after sanctifying various holy places like Mathura,Ayodhya,Panchavati etc.

Oh supreme soul Sri Venkatesa, you dwell every where. You manifest in different forms and fascinate us.

You appear on the ocean of milk,in the forest of Badari and at holy Prayaga and Gaya. You are treasure of the world. You are the supreme one appearing in countless forms.

In the North you graced yourself at Mathura and Ayodhya. You lived at Nanda's Vrajabhoomi. You stayed at Panchavati and Simhadri and sanctified the universe abundantly.

You've come from the abode of eternal beatitude as sustainer of Brahma Loka. You came from all the places to this Venkatadri and made it your abode.

arasi nannu gAchina - dESh

In this song Annamaiah surrenders himself to Lord Venkatesa stating that he restored the Vedas,that he is omnipresent,that he is the master of the universe and that he is the bestower of boons.

I surrender to Him who always protects me. I surrender to the lord who rules our life in this world and in the transendental.

I surrender to Him who is the life force of all. I first surrender to Him who is the lord of the trinity. I earnestly surrender to the lord of Devatas. I surrender to Him who is on the earth and in the sky at a time.

I surrender to Him who is Himself conciousness. I surrender to the lord of the infinite cosmos. I surrender to the God on Venkatadri who bestows boons to the hapless.

Adimoola maina

In this song Annamacharya reinforces his faith in Lord Venkatesa who protects all from all possible dangers due to the occasional catastrophs on the earth,on the water,on the fire, in the air and in the space.

The primordial lord alone is our savior. The lord of Lakshmi alone is the savior of our life.

The lord of the goddess earth protects us wherever we are on the earth. The God that reclines on the vast ocean is our savior on water.

He is the presiding deity of Yajnas(sacrificial rituals) who protects us from fire. He is the protector of Anjaneya the son of the wind god who protects us from hazards due to winds.

Sree Maha Vishnu who scaled the sky with one step is alone our savior in the sky. The supreme lord of Sri Venkatadri is our sole protector.

AroopamunakE hari

In this song Annamayya expounds the glory of Sri Krishna's Viswarupam. He gives the reasons for Arjuna's realisation that Sri Krishna is Sri Maha Vishnu's incarnation.

Oh Srihari,I prostrate before your divine appearence.You are the protector of Vibhishana.

Infinite number of heads,feet,eyes and hands are in your splendid appearence because you are the infinite in all respects.

pogaDaga kiriTi poDagane nee rupu
agaNita mahimuDa vanniTa gAna ||
The whole universe and all the eminent sages praise you. Arjuna praises your magnificient appearence because you are omnipotent.

In this song Annamacharya questions whether there is any other God equal to Sri Venkateswara the lord of Lakshmi and the father of Brahma the creator.

Venkateswara alone is the supreme conciousness. He alone is the hero of the world. No one is greater than him.

namara vandyuDu mA harikE gAka ||
Who else is the possessor of Lakshmi who dwells on a lotus except Hari? Who else is the creator of Brahma from his navel? Hari alone is worshipped by all Devatas.

Who else is the Lord of this earth except Govinda? Does the river Ganga originate from anyone else except from the feet of Madhava? Who else bore the Mandara mountain?.

In this Arati song Annamaiah sings the praise of the divine couple Alamelumanga and Sri Venkateswara.(Song of benidiction)

In this song Annamaiah expounds the essence of The Bhagavadgita proclaimed by Sri Krishna to Arjuna in which He declared that He is the creator and sustainer of the whole creation.

Thus Sri Krishna ordained Arjuna to listen and to be wise enough to worship Him.

I am the God in the form of bio-energy to cause hunger and to digest food. I am the God that dwells in the hearts of all to sharpen their memory and also to blunt their memory.

In this song Annamaiah describes symbolically the cycle of creation as the divine sport of the Almighty. He visualises the swing as the cosmos with Dharma as base.

Oh Lord,You shine in all souls and also in the air we breathe.The transcient nature of creation is your divine leela and splendor. It is the divine swing.

The dawn and dusk are mountain-like pillars and the sky itself is beam across, bearing the swing-like cosmos.

The Vedas are golden chains holding the swing safely.The seat of the cradle is Dharma.It is indeed an amazing swing.

The panaromic clouds enhance your brilliance, shining like blue mountain.The clouds are your your ornament.

Beautiful women feared that the cosmos would tilt but they continue to push the swing swiftly.

The scary movement of the swing made you embrace your consort. The celestial women found you delighted in the swing.

It is a rare feast to Brahma and other celestials to worship you. The magnificient Lord of Venkatadri is extremely delighted with the swing.

In this Slokam Annamacharya expounds that Sri Venkateswara is the primordial cause of creation and dissolution of the universe.He adds that He is the source of all the five elements of nature namely earth,fire, water,light and space.

He is the origin of oceans,fire in the ocean,the world, the clouds,the wind and the mountains. He is the cause of deluge,fear,thunder and mortal poison. He is the embodiment of the universe.

He is the Sun that dispels the frightful darkness. Siva,Brahma and Madhava are His manifestations. Seshadri is the abode of Sri Venkateswara. He is the divine physician that treats all the worldly ailments.
