In this song, Annamaiah extols the greatness and power of chanting the name of Sri Hari, which removes all sorrows, washes away all sins, and liberates us from all bondages.

It drives away the evils of poverty. Is it not enough? Hari's name is the lamp of knowledge that dispels the evils of bitter darkness. Is it not enough?.

Annamaiah praises Yasoda's child Krishna in this song, saying that even the most depressed persons become happy by his influence. He adds that those who surrender to him would be liberated.

C1	solasi choochinanu soorya chandrulanu lali veda jalleDu lakshaNuDu nilichina niluvuna nikhila dEvatala kaliginchu surala gani vO itaDu ||	He is unique with briliance of the sun and the moon. He invigorates the tired ones. He is the creator of all devatas. He is the gold mine for devatas.
C2	mATa lADinanu mari yajAnDamulu kOTulu voDamETi guNa rASi neetagu noorpula nikhila vEdamulu chATuva noorETi samudra mitaDu ||	He is the embodiment of good qualities and the whole universe is shown in his mouth. He is the ocean of compassion and is praised by the Vedas.
C3	mungiTa bolasina mohana mAtmala ponginchE ghana purushuDu sangati mAvanTi SaraNAgatulaku sangamu Sree vEnkatAdhipuDu itaDu ||	He is the great person before you and he overwhelms all. Sri Venkatesa is the confluence of soul and supersoul for those who surrender to him.

C1	kanTi kanTi vAdE vAde ghana maina mutyAlu kanTa mAla lave patakamulu nave minTi poDavainaTTi minchu kireeTambade janTala velugu Sankha chakrAlave||	I see him, it is He only. I see precious pearls, garlands, and pendants. I see tall crown and the shining Sankha and Chakra (conch and discus).
C2	munkaimurAlunu nave mola kaTharuna nade bangAru niggula vanne pachcha baTTade ingita merigi vEnkaTESuDe kannulaku mungiTa nidhAna maina moola bhoota madE ||	There I see bracelets on his hands and a dagger on his belt. That is the gold colored garment. He is the treasure in front of you. He is the primordial. Know that he is Sree Venkatesa.
C3	mokku mokku vADe vADe mundaranE vunnADu chekkulavE nagavutO jigimOmade pukkiTa lOkamulave bhujakeertulununave chakkanamma alamElu javarAlu nade ||	He is there in front of you. Prostrate again and again. Look at his cheeks and lustrous smiling face. You can find all the "lokas" in his mouth. His gold armlets are shining. Look at beautiful Alamelumanga with Lord Venkatesa.
